The Factory-X Knowledge Camp, hosted at Festo, focused on one clear objective: turning industrial data spaces into practical implementation. Over two days, 120+ participants from industry, technology and ecosystem initiatives exchanged insights on how data, architecture and use cases translate into real business value. This event was organized together with Festo and the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance and featured a diverse, hands-on program, including:
- Orientation and value creation around data spaces, digital twins and suitable entry use cases
- Deep dives into implementation, covering topics such as access & usage control, discovery and eventing
- The MX-Ports HERCULES, LEO and ORION – from architecture and “how to start” to concrete demonstrators
- 13 demonstrators from Factory-X, the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance, Festo and further initiatives, showcasing real-world applications
The Knowledge Camp demonstrated how collaboration, practical exchange and open ecosystems enable tangible progress in implementing industrial data spaces.
